The skin of the penis, just like any other part of the body is prone to dermatological lesions like rashes, pimples, spots and ulcers. Some of these lesions are caused by microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses, while others have no identifiable cause. There are penile lesions that are self-limiting, meaning they can resolve without any medical intervention, while others can become complicated if not treated.
